It flabbergast me how people can lie with a straight face, and worse yet, repeat the lie. I read and listen to ludicrous explanations being spewed and the fantasy story telling that continues week after week. This has happened and is happening almost every day and everywhere.
If we knew we were going to die in a year or within a specific time frame, what would we do? This is not a morbid thought or question, if anything it made me think about what I wanted, liked and enjoyed most in my life. My husband and I intermittently speak about what we would […]
“Will there be posh people?” my sister asked. “What will you wear, what will be served and how do you speak to posh people?” I didn’t know the answers to be honest. Far from being posh and of the jeans and t-shirt variety, my husband and I were not entirely sure how this whole experience was […]
I am happier. I feel like a weight has been lifted. And, it will and has to be better because it couldn’t get any worse than it was. I am a happy and proud again Malaysian. I no longer feel shy or fudge my nationality when I am overseas. Yes, I did it. Not from […]

I will not fare well if I have to give evidence in a court or to the police. Not because I would be nervous and a little intimidated by the seriousness attached to these offices, well that as well, but more so because I just don’t take enough notice of things happening around me, which […]
It’s just under eight hours away from KL. While it is not a hop, skip and jump away Sapporo is the place to visit if you, like me, like snow and the cold. Being a typical Malaysian, I get googly-eyed about all things snow. When home is an average sweltering 30C all-year-round, I can’t be […]
